Job Description \tEnergy & Submetering Solutions - Channel Sales Manager \tLocation: Remote \tReports to: VP of Sales / CEO \tEmployment: Full-time; Base Salary with performance-based bonuses and company benefits. We develop and market innovative submetering and other wireless monitoring systems that combine robust hardware with a powerful, cloud-based software platform. Our solutions help private and commercial customers optimize consumption, streamline billing, and improve utility management. \tWe are scaling globally and looking for a talented Channel Sales Manager to drive the next phase of growth through building and managing a strong network of distributors and partners. Role Summary \tThis is a strategic sales role focused on indirect sales through channel partners. Your mission is twofold: \tFind, qualify, and sign new distributors in target markets, presenting Cereniti’s combined hardware/software solution as a clear value proposition for their customer base. \tDrive revenue through existing channel partners, activating dormant relationships and pushing them to execute sales strategies that bring real growth. \tThis position is ideal for someone who wants to work remotely, with deep sales expertise in the utility or IoT sector, strong B2B and partner management skills, and a proven track record of building global distribution channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new channel partners (distributors, reseller, integrators) aligned with Cereniti’s market positioning.

  • Qualify leads, deliver impactful presentations and demos, and lead negotiations through to signed agreements.
  • \t
  • Set clear onboarding processes and success metrics for each partner.
  • \t
  • Build productive, trusting relationships with partner teams and executives.
  • \t
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with sales targets.
  • \t
  • Design and execute partner-specific growth plans — including campaigns, training, joint selling, and pipeline acceleration activities.

  • Support underperforming distributors to regain traction.
  • \t
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Support to ensure partner needs are met.
  • \t
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts for partner-related opportunities.
Qualifications
    \t
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales or business development, preferably in the utility, energy, submetering, or IoT sectors.
  • \t
  • Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner lifecycle management.
  • \t
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, enable, and activate distributors.
  • \t
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • \t
  • Technical expertise to explain hardware/software integration and product differentiation.
  • \t
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
