Role & Responsibilities:

• 6-8 weeks of contract work, will receive feature credit title on distributed motion picture with named actors.
• Develop and execute animation sequences based on the provided reference and creative direction.
• Collaborate with the director and post-production team to integrate animations seamlessly into the film.
• Work within a modest budget while maintaining high-quality results.
• Deliver assets in a timely manner, adhering to project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in horror or stylized animation.
• Ability to work independently while taking creative feedback.
• Prior experience in film animation is a plus but not required.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Motion capture and animation expertise.
• Storyboarding and motion graphics proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Experience in the film or animation industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, or related field.

Ideal Skills:

• Frame-by-frame (hand-drawn) animation experience.
• Strong understanding of timing and movement for fluid, atmospheric animation.
• Proficiency in one or more of: Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, Blender (Grease Pencil), or similar 2D animation software.
• Ability to work with cool, desaturated color schemes and soft lighting.
• Experience integrating animation into live-action footage.
