GBM, Private, Leveraged Finance - FinTech/Financials, Vice President/Director, New York location_on New York, New York, United States Opportunity Overview Corporate Title: Vice President Office Location(s): New York Job Function: Banker - Financing Group Division: Global Banking & Markets Salary Range: USD 150,000 - 300,000 GBM Private, Leveraged Finance - FinTech/Financials, Vice President/Director, New York Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are a team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas. Our Leveraged Finance group originates structures, advises and executes bank loan and high yield bond financings for corporate clients and financial sponsors, including LBOs, refinancing, M&A transactions and restructurings. Leveraged Finance teams serve as intermediaries between the debt capital markets (including sales, trading, research, and buy side investors) and our issuing clients. Given underwriting requirements for many of the transactions, the group works closely with multiple areas of the firm including Classic Investment Banking, Credit, Capital Markets and Research. The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Goldman covers a variety of sub-sectors including but not limited to banks, insurance companies, asset management firms, financial technology, payments, exchanges & trading, data & analytics, and specialty finance institutions. Skills & Experience We’re Looking For Master’s Degree and 4+ years of investment banking experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of investment banking, leveraged finance, or equivalent experience FIG, FinTech, or Financials sector experience preferred, but not required Strong track record of executing Leveraged Finance transactions in an investment banking role 2+ years’ experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates History of outstanding academic and professional achievement Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong quantitative and technical abilities Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities Capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contact Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
