Finance Director – Building Materials Industry We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee financial operations, strategy, and risk management for our company in the building materials industry. This leadership role requires strong financial expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial compliance. Job Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Planning – Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives to drive growth and profitability. Financial Management & Analysis – Oversee financial health, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and optimize capital utilization. Budgeting & Cost Control – Develop annual budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and enhance cost efficiency. Tax & Compliance – Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations and financial laws while optimizing tax strategies. Cash Flow, Fund Management & Inventory – Manage cash flow, financing activities, and banking relationships to maintain financial stability. Oversee inventory-related financial processes. Financial Reporting – Provide accurate and timely financial reports and insights to support executive decision-making. Team Leadership – Lead and develop the finance team, enhancing efficiency and improving internal financial processes. Investment & Risk Management – Evaluate the financial feasibility of investment projects and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets. Job Requirements: Education – Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or equivalent certifications are preferred. Experience – Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role. Experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry is preferred. Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, taxation, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Financial Software Proficiency – Experience with financial management systems such as Sage Intacct or QuickBooks. Communication Skills – Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Leadership & Decision-Making – Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex financial challenges, and drive strategic financial initiatives. Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Ability to perform in high-pressure environments and navigate complex business challenges. Regulatory Knowledge – Familiarity with U.S. financial regulations and compliance requirements; international financial management experience is a plus.
